1991 5 SP JETTA CAROT. No heat. When I bought this car the heater core thing was by passed because of a leak in the thermostat housing mistaken for a heater core leak I THINK. Fixed the housing but when heater re connected, white wet smoke blew out all over the windshield from INSIDE. Still no heat. Now what? :|

Replace the heater core! There is a hole in it causing hte radiator fluid to evaporate out of it and go on the windshield.
