Have an '02 VW VR6 6-speed with a re-occurring clutch issue. About a year ago the clutch seemed to be losing pressure and needed to be pushed further and further to the floor to dis-engage. A master cylinder was deemed the problem and replaced. It worked for about 9 months then the same problem cropped up again. Garage deemed it a faulty part and replaced it. In a couple of weeks, it started acting up again. This time a new clutch was installed. Got the car home, but thought the clutch felt funny and the next day it wouldn't move (disengage) at all. Towed back to the shop. Any ideas? Thanks!

It sounds like the only things that weren't replaced are the lines. Air somewhere in the system that was not bleed out after something was replaced is possible, and a leak that is bleeding internally into a part.
