Hello,
I have to do an oil change, coolant flush and fuel filter change on my car but I want to do it myself. How do I relieve the fuel pressure prior to removing the fuel filter and how do I reset the trip on the dash after servicing?
Are after market parts "filters and brakes" from pepboys ok to use on my car? My car is a 2.5L 5 cylinders.
Please advise

Aftermarket is okay, I would stay away economy parts though. I don't like pep boys, but wouldn't be afraid either.

To release pressure:
Before removing from hose connection wrap a cloth around connection. Then release pressure by carefully pulling hose off connection.

You need a VAS 5052 scan tool to clear the code.

IF the fuel filter is due, then also the transmission flilter and brake fluid are due as well.

Use phosphate-free coolant G 012 A8F A4 G12+ (purple).
