My Jetta pulls hard left under acceleration despite having balanced tires and the alignment checked. It began after a cement truck pulled into my lane and to avoid the poles in the median I put the car into the truck resulting in significant right front end damage. I know that the strut was replaced as well as the bar that controls steering but I don't think the drive axle was replaced. My fear is that something was damaged in the transaxle. Under hard acceleration the car pulls quickly to the left. Also there is a single distinctive clunk noticable going around turns at low speed and also can be replicated in a straight line by cruising in first, letting off the gas and then it happens right after applying the gas again. Clunk ! Clunk! Clunk! Every time! Please help me with my clunking suicidal car!!! Thanks!
