My car was not shifting properly and when I ran the diagnostics, it said I had a Electric solenoid problem. I paid 1200 total to get my transmission rebuilt and installed with a one year/12,000mile warranty. Was this a smart idea?

Hi there,

If you intend to keep the car and you are happy to invest this money, why not... you have the warranty and a rebuilt transmission, if something is to fail , there is a very good chance that it will well with in the warranty period, so i feel you have made the correct decision.
