Hello boys, I have a VW gold 1.9GTTDI. When it is left for a few days or it is cold it wont start, Ive had 3 new batteries, the first I was told was not strong enough so replaced it. This one was only working on half power after about 12 months, so I have got another brand new one and the car still wont start when it had been left more than 2 days. The whole batter is dead. Any ideas?

Also, the sun roof has a life of its own, opening and closing randomly!

Thanks

a draw test will help you determine if the battery failing or if you have something staying on causing it to drain over night
check the charging system too
disconnect the sun roof switch
as it may be the cause to your problem (give it a check )
