1996 Volkswagen Golf gl 2.0 cranks but no spark
Put new ignition coil, disturbutor, cap, wire, spark plug..... have power to coil and disturbutor.
Any idea? i already donated

One of the posts on the coil should flash when the engine is cranked with a test light hooked to it.This tells if it sees the crank turning

The post on the coil does not flash. Could it be the ECU?

Maybe. does it have compression? More likely the crank angle sensor or the cam angle sensor
