Engine was swapped from a 97 cabrio to a 95 cabrio.

We took all the components off the older engine.

The car ran fine before, except for a rod knock.

Now there is no spark and no power to the fuel pump.

We assume the problem is related to something we messed with during the swap, rather than a failed component - but we don't know where to look.

Hi hertfordnc,

Thank you for the donation.

First thing to check would be all connections. Ensure all have been plugged in correctly.

With no power to the fuel pump, check the power supply to the power supply and fuel pump relay. Unplug either relay and test if you have battery voltage at terminal # 30.
