Hi I took my car to an auto parts store that puts your car on the computer for free today. Because my check engine light was on. They said I needed a speed sensor? Can you tell me what my car would act like if it needed a speed sensor.I just have spent 900.00 becuse of my check engine light was on.

Vehicle Speed Sensor? Will make the trans shift erratic and possibly keep the cruise control from working. Do you know the exact code that it had? What has already been done to correct this?
