My car just got out of the shop today, my husband drove it an hour home, and when I got in to drive it my check engine light was came on. Our blue cooling light has been on and the repair men said it would stay on due to us not having the origional radio system installed. So now like I said our other check engine light came on, is the check engine light on due to the cooling light being on?

The check engine light have nothing to do with the cooling light. You need to check your engine if there is some problem. Usually check engine light is on when there is a problem with the engine.
