My car will not start, nor will even the emergency flashers come on. The only response i can get out of it is the headlights will come on. It won't even crank over. I thought it might be the starter but i can't even turn on the emergency flashers.

Now, i'm thinking its the fuses or a bad connection along the line somewhere, but could it just be that my battery isn't charged enough??

Thanks

HI there,

Start with the basics first, make sure that the battery is fully charged & the terminals are clean & tight, check that the connections at the voltage regulator are firm and that there is no corrosion on the terminals.

I shall try that in the morning.

Now, it was working fine and starting right up. I did however play with the light to make sure they were working, and messed with the fuses to see if any were burnt.

Could i have run out the battery by playing with the lights? (it was only maybe 3 mins)

Could the fuses be corroded? If they're bad the metal should be broke/melted right? and would the fuses being moved around even affect it?

thanks again

Hi there,

If the battery was faulty this may be the cause of your problems, just make sure that the fuses are in good condition, and are tight in the holder.
