my reverse lights are not working i have been told it needs a switch but were can i locate it

The Reverse light switches are almost always on the transmission, unfortunately i have no data on your car so i can't send a pic, a good mechanic will be able to point it out to you in a flash, may be drop into your local service center and ask them to point it out to you.
