1997 Vauxhall Vectra Repair Question

1997 Vauxhall Vectra wont start
Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Vauxhall Vectra V8 Front Wheel Drive
started car this morning and the car filled with smoke and smoke coming frm under the bonnet smelt like rubber burning turned it off. when i tried starting it again it just made screaming noises and wouldnt start now when i try to start it the engine turns over but is not firing someone has suggested it to be the water pump siezed and someone else has said the drivebelt tensioner has siezed i couldnt see a broken belt anywhere
please help

you need to have a garage take a look at the vehicle .. there could be any number of reasons for these symptoms !
