Engine Performance problem

Hi Folks,


I have, well my better half has a 07 1.3 cdti 90bhp 25k on clock!! There is an intermittent fault with a loss of power under acceleration.

Sometimes when pulling away from junctions/roundabouts etc there is no power whatsoever for about 5-10 seconds (feels worse than a non turbo), then kicks in (its not turbo lag). The fault can also appear when on the open road where the speed will just decrease (from 70 -40) even with the foot to the board!!! The problem dissapears when the car is turned off then back on again?? No engine mgmt lights on!!!

Taken it back to garage, they cant find a problem...no codes???? They have cleaned the EGR and replaced the Fuel Filter and the problem is still there!!!

Any ideas??
