Hi there;

I bought my car used back in September 2007; I have done approx 1000 miles over this period. My car has just been recalled to check the ABS system and while its in there I received a call from the garage that I need a CV boot. Now as I bought this from a Vauxhall Dealer I have the Network Q warrantee but they tell me that this is classed as wear and tear so the warrantee doenst cover it.

Now; could a CV boot be needed for 1000 miles and 4 months of motoring without being noticed by the garage back in September?

thanks

it is quite possible it has worn over the period you owned the vehicle .. it's a dealer you will not get it repaired for free ?
