Hi i have a 2004 vauxhall corsa car, i was driving yesterday and stopeed. when i tried to get back into gear to start driving the gears became all loose. Luckily i was only round the corner so my dad was able to drive it in 1st and 2nd gear to park it outside my house.

Do you know what the problem could be??

A quick response would be great and its quite urgent ... ps im from the UK

Hi there,

We do not have your car on our data base so i can't check any tech information, i would be thinking that the problem will be in the gear stick selector pivot ball, most manual boxes have some form of pivot at this point, either it has come undone or there is a bush that has failed, you should be able to see something when the boot that covers the selector is removed, start here.
