Electrical problem
2002 Vauxhall Corsa Manual

My car just cut out whilst I was stopped at some traffic lights. The engine wouldn't start at first but after a couple of attempts it restarted however the light on my dashboard stayed on, in the book it says its an electrical fault. Any idea why this happened and whats wrong with it?

Hello .. thanks for the donation .. much appreciated Have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to locate the exact cause of the fault ...the light being ON is telling you there is a fault stored in the cars computer memory and this will tell the technician where to look !! .. I suspect it is something simple like a faulty CKP (crankshaft position) sensor and will be an easy repair !! Hope this helps Dave H
