1998 Vauxhall Corsa Two Wheel Drive Manual 65000 miles

my car stalls after reaching 100 degrees celcius even if its on stationary..or idle. check the fan and it wont kick in.. so i checked the thermostat put it in a boiling water and it opens..plz help me out...

Have you checked the fan relay? If the relay sticks often times the fan won't come on. The fan circuit is more than likely your issue. An easy way to check this is find the fan relay and in same fuse box locate an identical relay (sometimes headlights, horn, relays are the same) Swap the two relays and run the vehicle. If the fan comes on this is your issue. If not you may have an issue with the fan itself.
