Does the CEL/MIL (malfunction indicator light) show on the dash display? Is it on constantly?. If it is have the vehicle diagnosed by a diagnostic computer at a repair centre. In the meantime check/clean or replace the CKP (crankshaft position sensor).

The sensor is on the back of the engine block near the flywheel ... I suggest you go to your local library they should have a manual for the vehicle you can borrow ... with instructions on how to replce the sensor .. and how to replace the bulbs in you dash panel !! it's an easy bolt off-bolt on repalcement ... hope this helps
