1997 Vauxhall Corsa 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

i have a vauxhall corsa 1.2 breeze 8v i put a new ignition coil in as it was running really rough it has had a full service the car drove for about three months really nicly and had no problem now again three months down line all of a sudden it has started to play up again we think its the ignition coil if you leave it for a day then drive it the car will then drive fine for another three days then does the same thing again can anyboy help me please
