i have a 52 plate astra sxi its starts put got no power to pull away its had a av vavle replaced could give any surgestions on what it could be

If the vehicle is not moving at all. The clutch is probably slipping !

The car moves when u take the revers upto 5,000 revs

Definately sounds like your clutch is slipping and needs replacing !!
