i have a 52 plate astra sxi its starts put got no power to pull away its had a av vavle replaced could give any surgestions on what it could be

if the vehicle is not moving at all .. the clutch is probably slipping !

the car moves when u take the revers upto 5,000 revs

definately sounds like your clutch is slipping and needs replacing !!
