Engine Cooling problem
1994 Vauxhall Astra Manual 105000 miles
Hi, i have a 1994 vauxhall astra 1.4. the car drives fine for roughly 2-3 miles increasing in temp as i drive. i have checked the water pump as i thought there was no water getting pumped through but the pump is fine.
I have been told its the head gasket but there is no signs apart from the cars temp heatiing up so quickly. it has come down once so i turned on my heaters and they were blowing cold air.
Am i being ripped into buying a new head or is it simple as just changing the thermostat ?.
Any other possible suggestions before i go spending ????.
Thanks
Dan
