My upper idler pulley bearing froze up. When I removed it the nut was missing and the bolt threads were completely gone on one side due to friction. I ordered the pulley which came with the fixed bearing. I wrongfully assumed that it would have the bolt and nut with it. My question is how do I find a replacement bolt or the part number? I have tried Napa, Advance, AutoZone, O'Reillys and not one carried the part nor could tell me a part number.

Best thing here is to try to match other bolt if it is the same size. Then go to auto parts and find a bolt/nut that will fit. Auto parts won't know. You can go to hardware as well just get a hardened bolt which in metric is on the head of bolt the higher number the harder it is.10.9 would do for hardness. If you cannot get a nut you can heli coil it and kits are available at auto parts and hardware stores.

Thank you. Is there not a website to look up part numbers?
