Hi my name is Mike,

I have a 1996 Chevy suburban 3/4 ton 2wd 5.7L truck started fine and driving on the way to work started to sputter a little bit at 55-65 then a week later did the same thing shut the truck off that night idling perfect. Next morning tried to start and motor acted like it was locking up every time i tried to start it and wouldn't start. i replaced the Ignition Module and the Pickup Coil in the top of the distributor. Truck ran fine for a few weeks then started the same thing i replaced the plugs wires and then the module and ran fine only for a few days this time now the same thing. Do you have any suggestions for me to try?

fuel pressure is good - someone suggested crank censor so i took it off and it was saturated in oil so I cleaned it with carb cleaner let it dry put electrical grease on it and it cranked up and havent had a problem sense. I took it to the part store and they hooked it up and said cam shaft positioning censor but code was old so I had the codes cleared ran it again and no codes showed. Thanks for responding.
