Truck wont start

New battery, turn the key to start I hear fuel pump, it throws the Bendix but only for a brief second then nothing. I keep trying but wont turn enough to turn over. Solenoid? Have had Security light on for a while and did the reset thing stopped flashing but stayed on this last time could that be problem? Two and a half hours from home. Help!

Check battery for condition including load test if you can. Auto parts does for free and try resetting security system it may be a problem with that which only a mechanic can fix.
