TRUCK LOOSES GAS PRESSURE WHEN I STEP ON GAS(BOGGING OUT)

RECENTLY I BOUGHT A 2000 EXCURSION. TOOK IT TO THE CAR WASH AND I NOTICED WATER LEAKING IN THE CAB ON THE PASSENGER SIDE UP FRONT BY THE PASSENGER DOOR. RIGHT WHERE THE FUEL RELAY SWITCH IS. WHEN PULLED OUT THE PARKING LOT THE TRUCK DIED ON ME. THE FUEL PUMP WAS NOT WORKING.I GOT IT TOWED TO MY MECHANIC. HE HAS SINCE REPLACED MY FUEL PUMP AND FILTER. HE HAS CHECKED THE CRANK CENSOR, CAM CENSOR. HE MADE SURE ALL THE WIRING ON THE PASSENGER SIDE BEHIND THE PANEL IS DRY. HE CHECKED THE COILS AND THE MASS AIR FLOW CENSOR. THE TRUCK IDLES STRONG FOR HOURS BUT WHEN YOU GIVE IT GAS, IT LOOSES PRESSURE. LIKE SOMETHING IS KILLING THE PRESSURE. WHEN THE TRUCK DIES OUT IT STARTS RIGHT BACK UP STRONG AND RUNS STRONG FOR A FEW MINUTES THEN IT DIES BACK OUT AGAIN.

1. HE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THE OXYGEN CENSORS WOULD CAUSE THIS.

2. WHAT AREAS TO LOOK IN NEXT.

3. WHERE IS THE FUEL INJECTION MODULE LOCATED

IT IS A 2000 V10 TRITON

THE FUEL PRESSURE IS GOOD WHILE ITS IDLING. IT DOESN'T BOGG OUT UNTIL YOU GET ON THE GAS. IT EVEN HAS PRESSURE WHEN YOU START IT COLD BUT AFTER ABOUT A BLOCK IT DIES OUT.

What is good? What is the pressure?

He is off base by going to other sensors now. He needs to be sure the fuel delivery system, fuel pump, is working correctly.

BETWEEN 39 43 POUNDS. IDLING. HE SAID THE HE PUT THE NEW PUMP ON AND THEN REPLACED THE FILTER WHICH WAS CLOGGED. HE SAID THAT IT GETS INSTANT PRESSURE WHEN YOU START IT BACK UP. SO IF THE NEW PUMP HAD BEEN BURNT OUT FROM THE CLOGGED FILTER THEN WOULD IT STILL GET CONSTANT PRESSURE WHILE IDLING?

Thats your issue then. If he cannot figure this out, I would suggest another shop as he needs to be able to tell you the issue not ask for help.

Could be the pressure regulator or the pump itself.
