I got these trouble codes C101_00, C140_00, C121_00, C131_00, C151_00. I can find the P and U letter in front of the numbers and each one says a different problem. Thank you

Hello, I'm Danny.

Unfortunately, those codes don't register. Can you upload a picture here or have the codes re-scanned? I've attached a picture below of the only C codes linked to your car. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hello again.

What kind of brand code reader are you using to pull those codes? Let me know and we'll go from there. Thanks again for using 2CarPros.

Hello again.

Here are a breakdown of the codes:

Those are all Ford codes that come up on the dash during test mode. They are U codes and are translated by replacing the C with U0U0101 - Lost communication with TCMU0121 - Lost communication with ABS moduleU0131 - Lost communication with steering moduleU0140 - Lost communication with BCMU0151 - Lost communication with Restraint Control module. I would say it's a CAN issue with one module locked up and preventing the other modules from using the line. A breakout box and scope would make it easy to find. Scan tool could be used but you would need to look at the modules on that line and find the missing one, then start unplugging them. I've attached diagnostic steps below. You will be using pinpoint test O and P on all of these and it is included as well. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.

Hi, the car is running fine. The car let me know about the brake light and I am able to put car in all gears PRNDL with no problem. The car changes gears smoothly. I don't know how long these codes have been on the car. I only had the car five days. I was putting gas in the car while it was running and it almost cut off with me. The next day it had a check engine light come on but went off two days later. I will take the car in tomorrow. Just to be safe. Thank you

Code C1510 generally indicates an issue related to the power steering system. Do you have any trouble steering the car?
