Can I use a 1980 aod transmission in my 1991 F150? Came from a 2wd, same 14 bolt pan.

Hello my name is Dave.

As long as you have the detent cable it will work, one thing to check is to make sure the tail housing is the same length as yours otherwise you'll have to change the driveshaft. One of the nice things about the AOD is that everything is regulated by the cable and the governor so there is no electrical or vacuum lines to worry about other than the neutral safety switch.
