Good morning.

There is no connection between the repair and the transmission shifting.

Check the connection at the throttle position sensor on the throttle body for any loose or damaged pins.

Is the check engine light on?

Okay, can you get me the code that is set?

It is located on the side of the throttle body. That is where the air goes into the engine from the air filter.
