Stalls at idle

Engine stopped running in drive while coming to a stop. Restarted several times without any problems, but each time I put it in Drive the engine would stop. Finally, after about 8 times it stayed running in drive.

I have a 2001 tundra 4.7 v8 when the truck gets warmed up it will not idle but sometimes it will but real low it will also die when I am stopping at a light or stop sighn.

Hi there,

The engine idle is controlled by the ECU, if there is a problem check for any unresolved fault codes, ICM faults, and vacuum leaks, start here.

Do you have a check engine light?

Check the actual fuel pressure with a guage and comeback with the readings-we start here
