Engine Cooling problem
1982 Toyota Tercel Front Wheel Drive Manual 167000 miles

I have a 1982 toyota tercell and I haven't had any problems with it up until now. It started squeeling on me (which it has done before). This time it took a lot longer for the squeeling to stop and then it started overheating on me. If the fanbelt went out could that have caused it to overheat? If not what do you think it might be?

Hi there, best you first check that the belt is still there, and it is tensioned and in good order, get this sorted and if you have problems still re post for more assistance.
