The truck runs like a champ, no signs of any trouble, I keep up with maintenance and there is just this one issue with it stalling. It only happens when I stomp on the gas for like 2-5 seconds, pedal to the medal and completely let off. 2-3 seconds after the engine completely dies. Doesn't sputter, or anything, just dies. All electrical things are still working through out this all. I pull over then I am unable to get it to start. It cranks, and cranks, the only way I'm able to get it to start is if I give it gas, keeping the RPM's up and shortly dying off of idle several times. So with this repeat process for about 5 min. It will return to normal as if nothing ever happened. I was told that it might be the IAC valve, maybe the EGR valve? What do you guys think?

Could be the IAC. Have you tried cleaning it out with carb cleaner? Has it ever lit the check engine light? Next time it does this, you need to see what is missing when it wont start, spark or fuel.
