i have a 97 toyota tacoma xl 4x4 , and it is making a grinding sound when i try to start it , but only sometimes other times it starts fine , and also seems to intermitatly over heat , but havent been able to see where it is leaking from , if at all , but i do keep on having to fill the radiator . thanks for any light you may be able to shine on my problems , i am in mexico and it is hard to find anyone who knows about toyota's they mostly deel with nissan .

Hi there,

A cooling system pressure test will help locate this leak, have the starter and the ring gear checked for the starting noise, any mechanic can do these test,
