OK I am ready to explode. Our daughter parked our T-100 outside a friend's house last night and now it appears someone stole the catalytic converter. It sounds like a freight train. Is it driveable? Can you give me a rough idea how much this is going to cost us to replace? We are in California.

Converters are extremely expensive.. You can drive the vehicle but the fuel mileage will be terrible and of course you will never pass emissions test..Below is an estimate to have your converter replaced.

Thank you. It's even worse than I thought.I thought it would be a grand, so now I'm really sick! I appreciate the forewarning, though. Ugh. Dirty B*stards.

Yeah the actual labor is really nothing. It is the cost of the part that gets you. I have never heard of anyone stealing a cat. Converter before but I certainly know that they are expensive to buy them. Maybe those thieves will be busted one day though.
