I have a 1988 Toyota PUP 2WD, 22R Engine with 107,000 Miles. When I start the Pickup up the engine RPM go to about as high as it can go and does not comes down, so I have to turn it off right away almost as soon as I start it. Any idea where to start fixing the problem.

Check the choke initial opening and fast idle adjustment-Something is sticking or jamming the choke assy.
