I just inherited a travel trailer and have never pulled one before. Trailer weighs 3000 lb unladen, hitch wt 300#. The Toy's combined wt rating is 7400 lbs so I reckon it can pull it, maybe not up logging roads but on normal highway grades.

The post on how manual transmissions work clearly explains why no transmission cooler is needed, but does not mention towing. Many trailer part vendors seem to advise getting a cooler. I don't even see how it would be possible to hook a normal transmission cooler to a manual transmission. Seems like I would only need to change the gearbox oil more frequently. But just be be sure, do you agree?

You won't be needing a cooler-all it needs is to maintain the gear oil and keep the cooling system up to snuff-you'll be fine.

One last thing keep it Tune-up. A weak engine performance will cause a problem climbing hills and other weird stuffs such as fuel economy etc.

Good Luck! Have a nice day

Also if you wish you can get an adapter that fits the oil filter housing for an in and out flow thru an oil cooler upfront-helps keep the engine temperature down and a quickie change of the oil filter instead of going underneath its very convenient it works for me, I wish all of them are made like that.
