We have a 1994 4x4 5-speed 4 cylinder 22RE Toyota pickup has 130,000 miles. Only problems ever had was when the timeing chain cover got a hole in it. Today truck was running fine, parked it went to crank up later --the starter will try to turn over, good spark to plugs don't seem to be getting gas, tired to spray gas into intake to see if it was fuel pump still wouldn't start. the engine don't make much sound when trying to crank it you just hear the starter trying to turn over no other engine sounds. There are no leaking fluids, no water in the oil. The motor will turn over but it just don't sound like it normaly does when it usualy cranks up. There are not any knocking sounds now or before it had this problem. We are puzzled any suggestions where to start?
