I need to replace my alternator, should I replace the voltage regulator at the same time? Both are original equipment 360,000 miles.

What's wrong with your alternator-did you confirmed its no longer reconditioning the battery. Maybe the battery is not taking the charge. Get back.

I installed a rebuilt alternator to see if the.72amp battery draw would go away it did not. Could it be the voltage regulator?

Remove all the wires from behind the alternator and isolate it from ground if that draw is still there, your problem is coming from somewhere else.
