I installed switches for an odometer gage and fog lights. When I turn them both on along with the head lights there is a squeeling noise even if I put on the windshield wipers it makes noises. Dont know if it's a starter, alternator or battery problem? Also when its cold out the truck may take several times to crank over (6-12 times) befor it finally cranks over and starts. It has problems like this during the not so cold times but not as bad. (1-3 times) Again is this a starter, alternator or battery problem? I appreciate the help.

Sorry, the squeeling starts only when the truck is running. Sorry again the 2 questions dont apply at the same time. Example, truck is running now I turn on the truck lights then turn on the fog lights with the tachometer, before I said odmoeter but ment the tech. Then the sqeeling starts. Its not that loud but you can hear it when your outside of the truck. Now if I turn off the fog lights and the tech switch the truck sounds normal. Do you think there is to much power being drawn?

Sounds like the alternator not compensating for the additional load from those gadgets. Was the noise there before you install them accessories?
