Fuel pump fuse and relay

I am planning to do a fuel injector clean using the NAPA pressurized system. I would like to know where the best connect points are. I thought that maybe connecting at the fuel filter (under the chassy)might be the best spot. How about where to plug the return line? And where is the best place to disable the fuel pump? Is there a fuel pump fuse, and where is it located? Thanks for your help.

Hey mug, disconnect the in tank fuel pump on top of the tank. Plug the return line at the line next to the right firewall. Use your connector on the left front fuel rail.

My 93 has been sitting for 4-years inoperable. We fueled it up, attempted to start. The engine cranks, no fire. Popped the fuel line off the filter and attempted to crank the engine, no fuel flow. Checked power at the fuel pump connector (atop the fuel tank) from the truck and had a good ground on the white wire with blue trace and no power from the blue wire. I am thinking that it is the circuit open relay on the right kick pannel.

Question is, how best to check the fuel pump in the vehicle without dropping the tank?

Check the diagnostic link for two terminals marked +b and Fp.

Short these terminals and fuel pump should run.

+b is battery positive and Fp is fuel pump.

You should also know that without a fuel stabilizer, the gas has turned to gum and varnish.

The tank was empty when we pulled it out of storage. I plan to replace the fuel filter. Any other suggestions?

Remove tank and clean it.

Most likely there was gas in tank at time of storage and that gas has turned into gum and varnish.

While tank is off, inspect condition of FP.

It does not have a fuse. The fuel pump is powered from the EFI relay through the circuit opening relay and then to the fuel pump.

1989 toyota 4 wheel drive keeps popping the fuel pump fuse, how come?

Too much current flow due to something is shorted. You didn't give any details, like how often this happens or how long you can drive before it happens.
