Engine Performance problem
1992 Toyota Pickup 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I have a 92 pu with the 22re engine. It started miss firing on 2 and 3. The plugs were wet when pulled. I have put 3 sets in it. Each time it ran ok for a while. The last time it didnt help any. I have put new wires, roto button, and dissy cap. It started to lose power and now can barely get out of its own way. It will start fine and run for a couple of seconds then start to lope badly and die. I can keep it running by pushing the accelerator to the floor and holding it. It will run but barely and has no power. The check engine light came on and I pulled the codes. They are 25 and 43.

You have a lean fuel condition DTC 25 and a starter signal circuit signal DTC 43

Check the engine compression and fuel pressure and then comeback with the readings

There are no exhaust restrictions. The air flow meter ohms out fine. I stuck a screw driver in it to open the plate and it started to idle better. I removed the screw driver and and it still idles better. Still has a miss and no power. The tps ohms out ok. It does idle a little better with it unplugged than it does hooked up. Still has a miss and no power.

If the pedal is held to the floor it will rev up a little higher now. It does take it time to get there though. There is no instant response. Still no power.
