My truck has been "loping" for about 2 weeks. My ampemeter will drop like the altenator is giving out and then quickly resurge. It gets worse everytime I hit the brakes, turn on turn signals, heater, etc. My battery is about 3 months old, and the real kicker is, that most of the time (95% of the time) my truck won't start with the key and I have to push start it.

I replaced my plug wires the other day because one was arcing against the block. That fixed a new problem, but the one above still exists. Thanks.

You got some serious problems here but I'll help

Have the battery and alternator load tested one might not be putting out and the other is not taking it.

My truck won't start with the key and I have to push start it. Could be the clutch switch at the pedal-jump the connector and see what happens with the key
