I have a 1990 toyota pickup.
4x4, 22RE engine, 5 speed.
My question is 2 fold.
1. Has anyone ever replaced the coolant pipe from the intake to the heater valve without removing the intake?

2. How do you change the fuel filter without removing either the intake or starter?
Thanks

As for the fuel filter jack up and support tha front of the truck. Remove the right front tire. There is a small panel on the inside of the fenderwell secured with a couple of small bolts. Remove the panel and it will be much easier to access the filter from there. I have changed mine several times and so far this is the easiest way. I have never had to remove anything else to grt to it.
