Transmission problem
1989 Toyota Pickup 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 15?K miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
my truck will not go into gear when running (will go into all gears and R when not running). When I start it and it's in gear, it lunges forward and then keeps crawling even with the clutch pedal down. I have replaced the slave and the clutch master cylinder already and bled it well, is there anything else I can maybe do before having to drop the tranny and go internal? Please HELP!!!!

Hi there,

The clutch is not throwing far enough, first check for excessive clutch pedal free play, you will only need a mm or 2 free play, next make sure it is bleed correctly. If the problem is still evident you may have a pressure plate problem.
