Engine Cooling problem
1987 Toyota Pickup 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 70k miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I just replaced the head gasket in my 22re EFI engine along with new fuel filter and injectors using all new gasket of course.

The engine runs great but when flushing out the engine block with the engine running the coolant was contaminated with large amts of gasoline.

How is the gas getting into the engine block?

Puzzling.
