2006 Toyota Highlander Heater/ Air Cond Control Panel
Electrical problem
2006 Toyota Highlander 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 50,000 miles
The fan speed can't be controlled manually. The speeds do work in auto mode. Dealer says to rpl the control panel. How do I get the trim off to get to the circuit board behind the knobs. Is this easy or do I have to take apart the whole dash?

Hello – sorry you are having problem with your vehicle.
If I understand your question correctly, I have attached what you are looking for. Be extremely careful when you pry on this as you can chip it. Use a wide blade and go easy.

11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Using a molding remover, disengage the 8 clips.
b. Disconnect the connectors, then remove the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly center. HINT: Set the shift lever in the N position.
