My voltage pegged at 16 volts and all the lights on
my car got very bright for @ 15 minutes, then volts
went back down to normal 13 volts and then 30 min
later car was only putting out 8 vd olts. The battery tested good but alternator tested bad so I replaced
it. Battery and charging system are working fine but
all the warning lights on my dash have been on since
car pegged at 16 volts and still have not gone off even though car is putting out 13 volts and battery
and all systems are working fine. What could be the
reason all these lights are remaining on?

Hi there,

Your data base does not cover your car's electrical system, If you would like to Email me, I will look up some information I have at work, it will be about 1 week before I will get a chance to go in. In the meantime, check for any light relays that may have been damaged with the high voltage, one may be stuck on, with out a wiring diagram that is my first best thought on the problem. Also check all fuses as well.
