1989 Toyota Corona
Air Conditioning problem
1989 Toyota Corona 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual
So i own an 89 corolla gts. I put a new battery in it. Replaced the negative and positive terminals. And it still wont start i got the battery checked and it was fine. the only way that I can get it started is to throw a battery charger on there and give it a brief 3 to 4 seconds of 225 amps it will fire right up then. But if i kill the engine and try to start it up again the only thing that happens is the starter clicks and the fan comes on im stumped what do think is wrong with it?

Check the battery connections and have the battery load tested. New battery can be faulty or undercharged.
Have the charging system tested if the problem occurs even after driving.
