hi i have a toyota corona she is very loud even louder when i exhalerate,when sitting at traffic lights it shakes so have to sit it in neutral to be still,does the noise have anything to do with the exhaust flange?

Hi there,
This may be an exhaust noise, these Toyota's do have a problem cracking exhaust manifolds as well, what you will need to do is remove the tin heat shield from the manifold and check for cracks and dirty exhaust stains around the manifold to head gasket, you can use a length of hose as a stethoscope to listen to the flange and around the manifold gasket this will pick up any leaks easily, start here.
