Hello,

I have a problem with my right axle making noise on my 2000 Toyota Corolla. The noises are coming from the transmission side of the axle. I just put the car up on blocks and ran the engine, but only one axle turns, the left. When I drive it on the road it makes a horrible thumping noise coming from that area, and it's not the tires as I have had those balanced and they are fairly new. I replaced the left axle about a couple of months ago and not sure if this new problem is related. Any info or help will be greatly appreciated. The car has 150,000 miles on it. I am unable to make a donation at this time but will as soon as I can. I can send a video of the problem if that would help. Thanks.[img:bf6b3642f2]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/109556_its_the_cats_car_1.jpg[/img:bf6b3642f2]

Randy, if the inboard, or tripod joint is bad you will get this symtom, or a tranny mount, check for up and down and side to side movement in both! It's normal for only 1 wheel to spin...if you hold that wheel the other will spin!
